| Eco-Racing.Org is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that was originally founded to bring sustainability to motor sports and develop curriculum for school children with an emphasis on engineering and environmental issues. Over the past few years the our mission has become more diverse as we meet individuals and corporations that are interested in sustainability and need help with the implementation of sustainable practices.
The original focus of Eco-Racing remains intact but while we try to implement sustainable practices with motor racing and build the Eco-Racing education programs we feel the need to do much more. With the implementation of the Eco-Racing Certification Program we are able to bring companies closer to a sustainable existence with an Environmental Management System that will be easily implemented, quantifiable, and cost effective.
Eco-Racing continues to look for partners that share the same passion for the environment and motor sports that will push forward the ideas of sustainability and the need to cut back our waste and consumption. We at Eco-Racing agree that on the outside, motor racing can be perceived as wasteful until you factor in the positive effects that motor racing has. Many engineering feats and safety measures have ben developed within motor sports and have aided the safety of our road cars.
Eco-Racing got it's start doing small tire recycling programs at kart tracks in Souther California. This along with local school and municipal presentations have sparked much interest in Eco-Racing and pushed it to the next level.
